The Audit Office of the Catalan Parliament has raised concerns over 7,600 euros spent by the Vox parliamentary group on meals that lack proper documentation and justification.

According to the final audit report for the second half of 2024, one invoice for 2,605 euros included 184.25 euros for high-proof alcoholic beverages. Auditors noted that the party failed to provide a list of attendees, making it impossible to verify if the expense was necessary for official parliamentary business.
A second invoice totaling 5,007 euros related to a regional coordination meeting in Lleida was also flagged. The report states that no details regarding the specific catering services or the number of participants were provided, which violates the transparency rules for public subsidies granted to political groups.
The Parliamentary Bureau may now demand that Vox repays these amounts. This follows a previous scandal involving party leader Ignacio Garriga, who was found to have used group funds for personal expenses such as hair salon visits and school fees.
