Clínic Lleida inaugurated its new facilities on Tortosa Avenue yesterday, an event that gathered a hundred attendees and consolidates the center as a benchmark in health and advanced surgery in the city.

The institutional act, presided over by the mayor of Lleida, Fèlix Larrosa, was attended by institutional representatives, healthcare professionals, and local entrepreneurs. This expansion allows Clínic Lleida to have almost 400 additional square meters, a space designed to improve both patient experience and staff working conditions.
The new facilities are aimed at increasing care capacity, optimizing medical processes, and offering more personalized attention, in line with the center's model based on quality, proximity, and innovation. The inauguration also highlighted the transformation of the healthcare model in Lleida over the last decades.
30 or 40 years ago, many complex interventions required travel to other cities. Today, the capital of Segrià has become a hub for patients from all over Spain, thanks to the incorporation of cutting-edge technology and the high level of its medical professionals.
During the evening, the Lleida-born communicator Ares Teixidó was named ambassador of the center. The mayor and doctors Garcia and Pelegrí unveiled the commemorative plaque, emphasizing the event as a demonstration of the talent present in the territory.
