The novel Sota la pell, un arbre, by the author from Seròs, has achieved a second edition in just over a month since its publication, a fact that the Eclecta publishing house has celebrated just before the Sant Jordi festival.

The work, which combines elements of historical and investigative fiction, focuses on the period of the Second Republic and the Spanish Civil War in Lleida and the Baix Segre. However, its thematic core explores desire and love through time, forming a kind of sentimental education.

"The important thing about a book is that people continue to talk about it six months from now. I'm interested in word-of-mouth extending the life of the novel."

the author
The author has expressed satisfaction with the novel's rapid reception, especially the readers' response. This second edition, arriving at a key moment like the week before Sant Jordi, is seen as an indicator of the interest his literary proposal has generated.
Despite the initial success, the author is more cautious about the work's projection outside the Ponent region, noting the difficulty writers from the area face in transcending the local sphere. For the future, he plans to return to poetry with an anthology that will include new poems.
