The Lleida-based productions span diverse disciplines such as street theatre, music, puppetry, interactive installations, and visual arts. This presence underscores the importance of the theatre industry in the Ponent region within an international market that this year gathers companies from nine countries. The programmed companies are Alea Teatre, Cia. Apikipala, Festuc Teatre, Glòria Ribera, Penique Productions, Sound de Secà, Urko Maschinen, and Xip Xap.
From Cervera, Alea Teatre premieres Nüwa, an itinerant show inspired by the Chinese goddess, blending visual, sonic, and emotional journeys. Sound de Secà presents Laralaila, a fusion of voice and root percussion with electronic sounds, celebrating intergenerational encounters. Urko Maschinen debuts with Vol.1, an itinerant piece using humor and visual poetry that explores migration as an act of survival.
For family audiences, Cia. Apikipala premieres Camins de bosc, an interactive installation for early childhood. Festuc Teatre presents its first street piece, INUIT - An Arctic Expedition, an immersive experience into the Inuit world. Xip Xap premieres Vola, vola piu!, a puppet show for young children about caring for a bird's nest.
The program also includes cuplé music with Glòria Ribera and her show Bomba va, which addresses war through celebration. Penique Productions presents Entre la pell i la màscara, an ephemeral installation that transforms a unique space with a giant inflatable structure.
Furthermore, FiraTàrrega collaborates with the Institut d'Estudis Ilerdencs of the Diputació de Lleida for the Lleida Escena initiative, fostering connections and exchanges among cultural professionals from the territory.
