Minister Óscar Ordeig presented the Catifa Vermella project this March in Serós, a strategic plan designed to promote generational renewal and reduce administrative hurdles for young farmers.

Visiting the Teixidó family farm, the Minister of Agriculture stated that bringing in new professionals is the government's top priority. The plan features a ten-point program, including personalized guidance at local offices and a new governance board involving universities and research centers.

"Without young people, there is no future. We must reshape the administration so they find more support and fewer obstacles."

Financial measures include specific credit lines from the Institut Català de Finances and a 99% tax relief on inheritance for agricultural businesses. A registry of unused land will also be created to help new professionals access farming plots.
