The Housing Technical Committee has agreed to start this consultative process, which aims to approve the document during the first quarter of next year. The plan will outline municipal proposals and commitments regarding housing.
The consultation will take place in several stages. First, the opinions of professionals in the construction and real estate sectors will be gathered within the framework of the Strategic Housing Committee. Subsequently, the plan will be presented to the Urban Agenda information commission for municipal groups to provide their input.
Finally, an online procedure will be enabled for all citizens to submit their contributions and suggestions to the document.

Mayor Fèlix Larrosa emphasized that the Local Housing Plan is a fundamental tool for advancing the planning of housing for various groups, such as the elderly, the university community, and young people seeking independence. It also includes the recovery and regeneration of urban areas, such as the Historic Center and the Mariola Urban Improvement Plan.
