The City Council (Paeria) has initiated the participation process for the Lleida Local Housing Plan 2027-2032, a key tool for defining municipal housing policies.

The Housing Technical Committee has agreed to start the participation process for the Lleida Local Housing Plan 2027-2032. This document outlines the municipal proposals and commitments regarding housing, with its approval expected in the first quarter of next year.
The process will involve consultations with the professional sector of construction and real estate at an upcoming meeting of the Strategic Housing Committee. The plan will also be presented to the Urban Agenda information commission for municipal groups to provide their input. Finally, an online procedure will be opened to collect contributions from citizens.
Mayor Fèlix Larrosa recalled that "housing remains a priority for the municipal government." He emphasized that the plan is a tool to advance in the planning of housing for the elderly, the university community, youth emancipation, as well as for the urban improvement of the Mariola neighborhood.
