The province of Lleida closed 2025 with 7,041 home sales, marking the highest volume of real estate transactions since the 2007 pre-crisis peak.

According to the National Statistics Institute (INE), Lleida saw a 19.1% increase compared to 2024. This growth rate is the highest among all Catalan provinces, significantly outperforming Tarragona (14%), Barcelona (13%), and Girona (6%).
The data reveals that second-hand properties dominated the market, accounting for nearly 75% of all deals. Only 1,790 new build homes were sold throughout the year. Additionally, over 90% of the transactions involved private market housing rather than subsidized units.
While December saw a slight dip of 8.3% in activity, the overall annual trend remains strong. Across Spain, the market surpassed 700,000 sales for the first time in 18 years, signaling a robust recovery for the sector.
