The city of Lleida celebrated its traditional Bed Race this Sunday, featuring fifteen handmade contraptions racing through the Old Quarter and the Commercial Axis.

Following Saturday's massive parade, the festivities continued in the capital of Segrià. Participants showcased their creativity with themes ranging from the new V16 beacons and Renfe trains to the swine fever crisis and the Louvre robbery.
The race started at Sant Josep Square and ended at Sant Joan Square. Along the route, teams had to complete various skill challenges, such as bowling and walking with balls between their knees, while passing through iconic spots like the Institut d'Estudis Ilerdencs (IEI).
The Carnival program will continue this Monday with events previously postponed due to high winds, including the Historic Center parade and a popular cake tasting, leading up to the official closing on Wednesday.
