The new promotional campaign, presented on June 22nd at the Montsec Astronomical Park, emphasizes the naturalness of the landscapes, people, and experiences offered by the territory, as well as a tourism model committed to responsible and balanced growth. The initiative seeks to preserve natural and cultural heritage, strengthen the identity of local towns, and build a future with opportunities for new generations.
With a budget of 620,000 euros for this summer season, advertising actions have been planned targeting Catalan, Spanish, French, English, Belgian, and Dutch markets. The Vice President of the Tourism Board, Juan Antonio Serrano, explained that the tourism sector expects to consolidate the growth seen in the last two years and surpass 580,000 tourists.
Last summer concluded with a record 1.57 million overnight stays. Provisional data for the first four months of the year indicate continuity, with 413,000 tourists and 1,017,787 overnight stays recorded, according to the National Statistics Institute (INE). These figures foster confidence for the upcoming season and the consolidation of the Pirineu and Terres de Lleida as a premier destination for nature and inland tourism.
