A study by Grup Mutua Propietarios reveals that Lleida is the Catalan region with the highest incidence of home burglaries or attempts over the last five years, reaching 12%.

The report Security in buildings and homes examines public perception ahead of Easter. Although overall burglaries in Catalonia fell by 8.7%, the volume remains significant with 15,947 cases in 2025. Interestingly, while Lleida has the highest crime rate, its residents are the least worried (30%) compared to Tarragona or Barcelona.

"Residential security is essential to guarantee people's well-being, and prevention plays a particularly relevant role."
