The Lleida Court has handed down a two-year prison sentence to a worker from the Iglú Plan for sexually assaulting a user and a colleague in Lleida.

The incidents took place between November 2022 and March 2023 at the Fira de Lleida pavilion, which serves as a municipal winter shelter for the homeless.
The defendant accepted the charges on Wednesday following a plea deal. The Lleida City Council, acting as subsidiary civilly liable party, will pay 2,000 euros in compensation to each victim.
The prison sentence has been suspended on the condition that the individual completes a sexual education course and maintains a 300-meter restraining order from the victims for the next three years.
