The council aims to turn the area into a year-round hub for meeting, leisure, sports, and citizen activities. The project is envisioned as a service contract, inviting specialized companies to present their proposals for managing and operating activities within the space.
As explained by Mayor Fèlix Larrosa, the tender specifications will be published next week. These proposals will be based on ideas generated from the citizen participation process 'Imaginem Platges de Lleida' and input from municipal technicians.
Interested operators will have two months to submit their bids. The contract is expected to be awarded in the autumn, with the goal of having the 'Lleida Beaches' operational by spring 2027.
