The Mossos d'Esquadra have carried out a significant operation in Lleida and Seròs to dismantle a criminal network involved in marijuana and weapons trafficking, resulting in several arrests.

This Tuesday morning, nearly 200 officers from the Mossos d'Esquadra were deployed in the Mariola neighborhood of Lleida and the town of Seròs. The operation's objective is to dismantle a criminal organization involved in marijuana and weapons trafficking, with several arrests already made.
The operation includes searches of homes and industrial warehouses in both locations. In the capital of Segrià, searches were conducted in residences on Plaça Barcelona and Carrer Músic Vivaldi. Additionally, technicians from the electricity company were called in, as those involved in the scheme may have fraudulently connected to the power supply.
Various police units are participating in the operation, including the DIC, BRIMO, ARRO, forensic police, canine unit, aerial resources, central command staff, and the citizen security unit. This action is coordinated with the public prosecutor's office and the investigative section of the Lleida Court of First Instance, and the case remains under seal.
