The Mossos d'Esquadra police force has linked 71 additional robberies to a 30-year-old man arrested last July in Lleida, bringing the total number of suspected crimes in the Horta area to 76.

The investigation reached a breakthrough following the analysis of the suspect's mobile phone. Authorities confirmed that the device contained incriminating evidence, including photos of stolen goods, images of forced entry points, and GPS data placing A.N.C. at the crime scenes during the incidents.

"We believe there are solid and unequivocal indications and arguments of his authorship."

The criminal activity allegedly took place between late 2022 and July 2025. Public concern peaked in December 2024 when two homes in the Montcada district were set on fire after being robbed. The suspect is currently in custody following a ruling by the Lleida Provincial Court.
