The Ebro Hydrographic Confederation (CHE) has officially lifted the navigation ban at the Santa Anna and Canelles reservoirs this March, following the installation of specialized cleaning stations.

The restrictions, in place since November 2025, were established to prevent the spread of zebra mussels. New disinfection facilities in Àger and Alfarràs are now operational, ensuring that all vessels are properly cleaned before entering the water.
Boaters must now provide proof of disinfection via email. Currently, 27 reservoirs in the Ebro basin have these cleaning systems, as authorities continue to monitor 18 affected sites and nine others classified as high-risk areas.
