According to the INE, 46% of residents in Lleida aged between 30 and 39 were born outside of Spain, highlighting the province's structural diversity in the labor market.

Data from the National Statistics Institute (INE) as of January 1st confirms that Lleida has one of the highest percentages of foreign-born population in their prime working years. This demographic reality places the province on par with Barcelona and Madrid.
Despite their significant role in sectors like agriculture and logistics, foreign nationals accounted for only 9.4% of home purchases in Lleida during 2025, well below the Catalan average of 15%.
