Members of the PAH housing rights group occupied the Agència de l'Habitatge offices in Lleida this Wednesday to protest against Sareb's management of local rental properties.

The conflict involves over 150 homes in the Clot, Pardinyes, and Universitat districts. According to the PAH, tenants are facing 'abusive conditions' and price hikes of up to 50% as the buildings prepare for a transfer to the state housing agency Casa47.
Sareb representatives denied the harassment claims, stating that they offer social rents capped at 30% of family income for vulnerable residents. They suggested the complaints arise from mandatory price reviews when tenants no longer meet poverty thresholds.
