The suspension affected several lines, including the RL4 bound for Terrassa, which was scheduled to depart at 11:12h. Users had to wait two hours before being redirected to a bus. Some, like Angelica, chose to seek private transport due to uncertainty, while others preferred to wait for an official solution.
“"They offer alternatives, but the information we receive is in dribs and drabs. I see that they are not very clear either; the situation is difficult."
The travelers' discontent focused on the management of the information crisis. Cristian, another passenger, confirmed that road transport was offered, but without definitive confirmation. Both he and Artur ultimately chose to travel by bus and high-speed train, respectively.
For travelers heading to Barcelona via Camp de Tarragona, a second bus was provided to cover municipalities in Les Garrigues, such as Vinaixa, and a high-speed train to Sants station. The RL3 line from Cervera to Lleida was the only one that operated without incidents.
Given the generalized cancellation of the service, the afternoon trains on Saturday were suspended, including the R13 at 18:12h and the R14 at 20:30h bound for Barcelona. The RL4 service at 19:26h and the RL3 at 21:19h were also canceled.
