The Tourism Board of Lleida has continued its collaboration with Descobrir Catalunya magazine to promote family tourism in the Vall de Boí. From July 10th to 12th, journalist Cristina Torra and her family explored the destination's attractions, including the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, the Romanesque ensemble of the Vall de Boí, the Salencar de Barruera, the Romanesque Centre, the Caldes de Boí Spa, and the Boí Taüll resort. They also participated in activities like a mapping visit to Sant Climent de Taüll and learned about the tradition of 'falles' (fire festivals).
This initiative, part of the "Territori menut" (Little Territory) section dedicated to family-friendly proposals, will generate content in various formats: social media stories, a magazine report with a practical guide and illustrations, expanded content on Descobrir.cat, and dissemination through the publication's e-newsletter and digital channels, which boasts over 10,000 monthly print readers and 100,000 digital followers.
Concurrently, the Catalan Tourism Agency has invited influencer Marina Comes to visit the Pyrenees and Terres de Lleida to promote Section 3 of the Grand Tour of Catalunya (GTC). Comes, a recognized digital content creator, photographer, and television collaborator specializing in tourism, has developed content on culture, food and wine, nature, and local activities between July 4th and 12th.
During her visit, Marina Comes explored the Seu Vella of Lleida, undertook a hiking route through the Mont-rebei gorge, and flew over it in a paraglider. She also enjoyed guided routes to the lakes of Vall Fosca, in the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, the Bonabé valley by mountain bike, and the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. Additionally, she discovered the Romanesque art of the church of Sant Joan d’Isil, the Ecomuseum of the Valls d’Àneu, the tradition of 'falles', and tasted the authentic local gastronomy.
