The works focus on consolidating and improving the conservation of the church's main portal and north facade, heritage elements considered among the most significant of the monumental complex.
The intervention, covering an approximate area of 238 m² on the facade and 37.40 m² on the portal, aims to preserve the historical, architectural, and material values of the building, applying heritage protection criteria and conserving original materials.
The project includes specialized restoration work to recover and stabilize degraded elements of the portal and the exterior masonry.
“"The action will allow for the consolidation and improved conservation of this heritage element, one of the most relevant in the monumental complex of Turó de Gardeny."
The project has an awarded budget of €35,428.80 (VAT included) and has been awarded to the restorer Albert Gaset Majà. Funding comes from grants from the Oficina de Suport a la Iniciativa Cultural of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, with technical supervision from the Centre de Restauració de Béns Mobles de Catalunya.
