Sant Jordi Day was a resounding success in Lleida, drawing thousands of people to the city's literary hub, where they enjoyed books, roses, and cultural activities throughout the day.

The day exceeded expectations, with dozens of book and flower stalls bustling with visitors from midday until evening. Booksellers and publishers confirmed the positive pre-event sentiment, solidifying Sant Jordi Day as a key event in the capital of Segrià.
One of the most welcomed novelties was the relocation of the stalls to Ferran promenade, which, after last summer's renovation works, offered a wider and more comfortable space for strollers. This improvement allowed for better circulation and a more pleasant experience for bookstore and florist customers. Civic, social, and cultural entities, as well as political parties and unions, were located on Francesc Macià avenue.
The streets of Lleida were filled with shoppers and curious onlookers, especially during peak hours at midday and throughout the afternoon. Favorable weather, with spring-like temperatures, accompanied the celebration, which also included musical activities organized by the Paeria on the stage at Ferran and Democràcia, featuring concerts by Damnor, Ares Merchal, and Blanco Cénit, and sardanas with the Cobla Tàrrega.
The stalls of the main bookstores and publishers hosted numerous local authors presenting their new literary works, with over forty titles published this year. Florists also met expectations, with approximately 2.5 million roses sold throughout Catalonia by the professional sector, out of a total of 7 million flowers. The Diada was also celebrated with great success in other regional capitals and towns in the province of Lleida.
