Mossos d'Esquadra arrested seven people on Monday night in Lleida during a joint operation with the Guardia Urbana to prevent further disturbances at Parc sobre les Vies.

The police operation was launched after a demonstration by the Pakistani community, attended by about 150 people. This community had been targeted by another group of youths, many of them minors, in previous nights. When the demonstration concluded, a group of approximately 20 individuals refused to disperse despite police instructions. Some were armed with sticks and bladed weapons, allegedly intending to confront the aggressors from previous nights.
The Mossos proceeded to arrest seven individuals for disobedience and public disorder offenses. These arrests add to the five previous ones made since last Friday for the same incidents: two minor aggressors arrested on Friday, a third person from the Pakistani community on Saturday, and two more aggressors on Sunday.
Police have positively assessed the operation, which began around 7 PM and concluded at 11 PM. The Mossos d'Esquadra announced they will enhance collaboration with the Pakistani community through the Community Relations Office (ORC) to find solutions to the conflict in the area. Additionally, preventive measures will continue in the coming days to avoid further incidents.
