The president of the Technical Architects, Josep Torres, has described the new Lleida bus station as the most complex public work executed in the city in recent years.

According to Torres, the facility marks a significant qualitative improvement. He emphasized the advantage of its location near the Lleida-Pirineus train station, which strengthens the city's role as a transport hub, even without a direct physical connection between the two buildings.

"It is the most complex recent public work in Lleida."

The project involved a deep restoration of the old Docks, a degraded industrial building now integrated into the modern structure. Torres concluded that operators must now adapt their routes to ensure the success of this new intermodal node.
