The electronic music event that has set up on a large plot of land near Arc d’Ada in Llardecans has completed its second day of activity without any notable incidents. Sources from the Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan Police) have confirmed that the gathering, which maintained between 100 and 150 people, has proceeded normally. Access controls were in place to prevent overcrowding, and checks were conducted upon departure to ensure attendees were not under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
The Catalan police emphasized that no requisitions were necessary for the participants, as they have not caused any disturbances in the municipality. This situation was corroborated by the local mayor, Xavier Mor, who stated that the Town Hall has also received no complaints from residents and that the attendees, mostly from outside the area, are behaving civilly.
The estate, located near Arc d’Ada, has transformed since Saturday into a large encampment featuring dozens of cars, campervans, trucks, and even coaches. This marks the third occasion in the past fifteen months that Llardecans has hosted such an event, with similar gatherings occurring in the area for at least 13 years. The organizers appear to be from France, where Monday is a national holiday for Easter or Pentecost.
Last year, Llardecans was the scene of two similar parties: one in March, attracting over a hundred people and 50 vehicles, and another in May, which was larger with around 400 people and 150 vehicles. According to Mayor Mor, these types of events typically arrive at night, with participants setting up the following morning. However, the identity of the organizers remains unknown.
