Three Lleida theater companies earn six Max Awards nominations

InHabitants, Xip Xap, and Campi Qui Pugui selected for Spain's most prestigious performing arts awards.

The theater companies InHabitants, Xip Xap, and Campi Qui Pugui from Lleida have secured six nominations for the XXIX Max Awards, the most prestigious performing arts honors in Spain.

The local scene achieved a record number of candidacies this year. InHabitants Teatre is nominated for Best Breakthrough Show with L'illa del tresor, while Xip Xap Teatre is a finalist for Best Scenic Space Design for their production Sigues tortuga.
Campi Qui Pugui leads the local representation with two different shows. Matres has been nominated for Best Family Show, Best Playwriting, and Best Production Design. Additionally, their street performance Camelvà is a finalist in the Best Street Show category.
Established in 1998 by the SGAE Foundation, the Max Awards celebrate annual excellence in professional performing arts across the country.
