The Torrefarrera City Council has opened the period for submitting proposals for the 2026 Participatory Budgets, an initiative allowing residents to decide the allocation of €75,000 in municipal investments.

From September 14th until October 4th, citizens of Torrefarrera are invited to submit their ideas and proposals for the investment of €75,000 from the municipal investment budget.
Proposals can be submitted in two ways: online, through an application enabled on the City Council's website, or in person by collecting, filling out, and returning a form at the municipal offices.
Each participant can submit one proposal, which must include a clear description of the action and specify its location. Proposals must be legal, technically feasible, relate to municipal responsibilities, and have a maximum cost of €75,000, among other established requirements.
Once the submission period ends, proposals will be technically evaluated during October and November. Validated proposals will proceed to the citizen voting phase, scheduled from December 7th to 20th. The final results will be announced in January 2027.
