Woman found dead in apartment in Lleida's historic center

Local police and firefighters discovered the body of a deceased woman on Monday afternoon in an apartment located on Cavallers Street in the city of Lleida.

Authorities were alerted at 2:11 PM after reports that the resident of building number 46 had not been seen for several days. Upon entering the property, emergency teams confirmed the woman had passed away.
The Mossos d'Esquadra police force has launched an investigation into the incident. Initial reports indicate that the body showed no external signs of violence or criminal activity.
The body has been taken to the Institute of Legal Medicine for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
