Emergency services were alerted at 1:55 PM. Three Medical Emergency System (SEM) units and Mossos d'Esquadra officers attended the scene. Although Firefighters were initially called, their assistance was ultimately not required.

The victim suffered a spinal injury and was evacuated to the Arnau de Vilanova Hospital in Lleida after receiving initial medical care on-site, according to police sources.
