The three winners were selected from eight proposals evaluated during the deliberation held this Wednesday afternoon. The jury, composed of institutional, academic, and cultural representatives, highlighted Saura's consolidation as an essential figure for the agrarian and cultural world of the territory.
Llorenç Saura Pedrol receives the trajectory award for his work in promoting and developing the Horta. Meanwhile, Celler de Sanui was recognized with the innovation award for its commitment to local wine production and the dissemination of wine culture.
The recognition underscores the fundamental role of these actors in the social and cultural visibility of the Horta de Lleida.
Finally, Marina Pifarré Rovira was awarded in the category of trajectory of women in the Horta de Lleida. The jury valued her persistence as an activist and defender of the labor rights of female farmers.
The awards ceremony will take place next January 17, coinciding with the events of Sant Antoni Abat. Each winner will receive an original painting by the Lleida artist, Miguel de Ibarbia Mangrané.
