The day kicked off with the 12th edition of the traditional Sant Miquel Race, which saw over 400 runners participate across the Bordeta and Mangraners neighborhoods.
The Patio de las Comedias hosted a capoeira session by Capoeira Topázio Lleida, while Plaça del Depósito featured the participatory show ¡Levántate y baila! by Atrapasomnis, inviting all ages on a musical journey.
The Human Towers Day at Plaça de la Paeria was the highlight. Castellers de Lleida shared the stage with Niños de El Vendrell and Capgrossos de Mataró. The Lleida-based group achieved their best performance to date, successfully building the tower of 8, the 7 of 8, and loading the 3 of 8, concluding the event with traditional farewell pillars.
Concurrently, Plaça Sant Joan offered a swing dance with an open jazz steps workshop. At Plaça del Depósito, the black music rhythms of Ponent Roots energized the crowd, and the Pista de la Panera hosted another edition of the popular Musical Bingo.
The afternoon program includes electronic and urban music at Espai Cavallers with Ponent DNB Showcase and Mindset Madness. At Plaça del Depósito, the all-female cover band Les Gamberres will perform a concert.
Popular culture continues at Plaça Sant Joan with a sea shanty performance by Llops de Mar i Boira. In the Patio de las Comedias, Pere Romaní will lead participatory dances.
The Autumn Festivals continue to transform the streets and squares of Lleida into spaces for intergenerational encounters, blending tradition and modernity through music, popular culture, and family activities.
