The Deputy of Economic Promotion of the Diputació de Lleida, Jordi Verdú, participated this Wednesday in the business connection event of the ‘Fem Sectors’ program, held at the Cafè del Teatre de l’Escorxador in Lleida. This initiative, driven by COELL with the support of the Diputació de Lleida, aims to bring the business world closer to young people through the experience of professionals and local companies.
The meeting facilitated the creation of professional connections and the sharing of learnings among participating companies. Verdú emphasized the need to connect the educational and business worlds, providing young people with real role models and close examples to help them discover vocations and envision their professional future. He thanked the entrepreneurs for their dedication to the younger generations, considering it a direct contribution to youth training and the creation of more opportunities.
The deputy also highlighted the capacity of the ‘Fem Sectors’ program to generate networks, knowledge, and strengthen ties between the business community and educational institutions. He noted that the economic and social development of the territory depends on initiatives based on collaboration, talent, and shared knowledge.
The session, led by David Jorba, was designed as a relaxed space for participants to discuss concerns, learnings, and identify potential collaborations. The dynamic ‘What We Learned by Teaching’ was developed, and the event also featured a performance by Poetry Slam Lleida.
