An expert report submitted to Lleida Court number 4 has concluded that the former general manager of Lleida Esportiu did not misappropriate any club funds, dismissing the initial accusations.

This judicial resolution provides significant support for the former executive, who from the outset denied the accusations made by the then club president and his deputy. They had publicly accused him of alleged misappropriation of 73,000 euros and withholding revenue from online ticket and season ticket sales.
The conflict erupted in March 2024, when the club announced his departure. Days later, the former manager stated that he had not resigned but had been dismissed due to «loss of confidence». At that time, he expressed deep distress, claiming to feel «humiliated» and to have lost «a friend» in the president, whom he attributed to being «poorly advised». Furthermore, he asserted that he never received «a single euro» from the club and, on the contrary, contributed nearly 80,000 euros from his own pocket.
Subsequently, he increased this figure and, through a private expert assessment, claimed 185,375 euros from Lleida Esportiu, arguing that he had financed part of the entity's activities. He also announced legal actions for unfair dismissal, slander, and libel, insisting that he only sought «for the truth to be known».

"Only one fiscal aspect remains to be resolved. Conversations with the blue entity are fluid, and the agreement is practically closed."

the mayor of Lleida
In parallel, the mayor of Lleida, Fèlix Larrosa, expressed caution but optimism regarding the delicate situation facing Lleida CF. Larrosa confirmed that the city council is finalizing the details of a new agreement for the use of the Camp d'Esports. He acknowledged being aware of the ongoing negotiations surrounding the entity, emphasizing that the role of the Paeria is to «accompany, ensure adequate facilities, and facilitate agreements that allow for combined efforts».
Regarding the insolvency process, Larrosa insisted that the final decision would not depend on the Paeria, although he stressed that the institution is creating conditions to foster a positive outcome. Concerning the situation of the name and historical symbols of UE Lleida, currently registered by Atlètic Lleida, the mayor revealed that «I have opened conversations to resolve this situation and we will take the necessary time».
