The Lleida Provincial Council is participating in Gastronomic Forum Barcelona 2026, held from November 2nd to 4th, with seven producers and the promotion of six origin and quality labels.

The Lleida Provincial Council, through the Gust de Lleida brand, will promote agri-food products from Lleida, the Pyrenees, and Aran at Gastronomic Forum Barcelona 2026. The aim is to raise awareness of product quality and facilitate contact between producers, restaurateurs, distributors, and sector professionals.
The fair, themed 'Revisiting Tradition' this year, aligns with the values of Gust de Lleida, which emphasizes the origin of food, traditional preparations, and producers' knowledge, while promoting new commercial opportunities.
Throughout the three days of the fair, the Council will participate in activities at the Rebost de Catalunya (Catalonia's Pantry) with tastings and demonstrations of products such as olive oil, wines, fruits, honey, nuts, meats, and artisanal preparations.
On Monday, November 2nd, the Deputy for Economic Promotion, Jordi Verdú, will participate in a tasting of products with origin and quality labels, bringing together six protected designations of origin and geographical indications from the territory. There will also be a promotional event for Gust de Lleida related to the Agramunt Nougat Fair.
On Tuesday, November 3rd, Verdú will attend the presentation of the Guia Augusta 2027, which highlights Catalan cuisine and restaurants preserving the gastronomic heritage. He will also participate in an activity focused on olive oils from the Lleida region.
On Wednesday, November 4th, the Rebost de Catalunya program will focus on liquid products of origin, with the participation of producers from Lleida specializing in juices and infusions.
Seven producers from Lleida will be present throughout the fair, along with other companies and cooperatives. Six origin and quality labels will be represented: DOPs Pera de Lleida, Les Garrigues, Formatge de l’Alt Urgell i la Cerdanya (Alt Urgell and Cerdanya Cheese), and Mantega de l’Alt Urgell i la Cerdanya (Alt Urgell and Cerdanya Butter), DO Costers del Segre, and IGP Torró d’Agramunt.
Representatives from nine regions –les Garrigues, Pallars Jussà, la Noguera, el Segrià, la Segarra, el Pla d’Urgell, el Solsonès, l’Urgell, and the Conselh Generau d’Aran– will showcase their agri-food products and initiatives.
This joint presence aims to highlight the diversity of Lleida's agri-food sector, provide opportunities for commercial contacts, and bring products closer to the restaurant industry.
