The day begins early with the Mateinades at eight in the morning, followed by the Galejada de Festa Mayor in the Camps Elisis. Throughout the morning, various municipal spaces will open their doors to the public, offering a unique opportunity to visit emblematic sites such as the Castell Templer de Gardeny, the MORERA, the Museu de Lleida, the Conjunt Monumental del Turó de la Seu Vella and the Castell del Rei, the Centre d'Arts la Panera, the Museu del 'Aigua, the Depòsit del Pla de l'Aigua, the Molí de Sant Anastasi, the Roda Roda, and the Sala de Exposiciones del Ayuntamiento.
The religious program includes the procession to the Office from the Concejalía palace at half past ten, culminating with the Solemn Office in the Catedral Nova at eleven. After the ceremony, the image of Sant Anastasi will process to the Sant Joan church, where floral offerings can be made, accompanied by the ringing of bells from the Seu Vella.
For the youngest, there will be activities such as a trip to Magicolàndia in the Camps Elisis and wooden games that will continue throughout the day. Additionally, Rambla Francesc Macià will host an exhibition of antique and classic vehicles. Music will also play a prominent role with a festival vermouth featuring live music in the Camps Elisis, a sardana and cobla music concert at the Enric Granados auditorium, and the Festa Major Concert at the Seu Vella.
One of the most anticipated moments of the afternoon will be the Battle of Flowers, taking place at six in the Rambla Ferran. Dance will fill the streets of Lleida with the Festa Major Dance in Sant Joan square, the grallers group dances in the patio of the comedies, and the sardana dance in the Plaça de la Paeria. The day will culminate with a visit to the Colina de la Seu Vella, which will connect with the fireworks display illuminating the city, marking the end of the Festa Major with the return home of the Gegants de Lleida and the Marraco.
