Lleida City Council puts sixteen plots in Torre Salses up for sale for single-family homes

The 600 square meter plots are priced below 50,000 euros and are located in the expansion area between La Bordeta and Els Mangraners neighborhoods.

The Lleida City Council announced yesterday the sale of sixteen 600 square meter plots in the Torre Salses area, priced below 50,000 euros, designated for the construction of single-family homes.

The announcement was made during the City Management Commission, where it was detailed that any individual can submit an offer for these lands. Most plots have an area of 600 square meters, with prices ranging between 49,954.64 and 49,974.62 euros. Only one smaller plot, measuring 500 meters, is priced lower at 41,646.21 euros. The exact location is between Josep Betriu and Josep Maria Minguella streets.
This operation is part of the management of the SUR-42 sector, known as Torre Salses, situated between the La Bordeta and Els Mangraners neighborhoods, where the Promenade commercial park will also be developed. It should be noted that last November, the Paeria already put out to tender about twenty similar plots, two of which recently remained unsold.
In the same commission, information was provided regarding the opening of a preliminary consultation for the modification of the Landscape Ordinance. This initiative seeks citizen participation to improve the document, with the main objective of visually protecting the Seu Vella, in addition to regulating the placement of terraces in protected areas and updating the composition of the Heritage and Landscape Commission.
Finally, the Deputy Mayor for City Management, Begoña Iglesias, took the opportunity to meet with neighborhood associations of L’Horta. The purpose of the meeting was to present the details of the new Municipal Urban Planning Plan (POUM) which is currently being processed.
