The project, promoted by the Lleida City Council, involves a comprehensive action to replace the current streetlights, considered among the oldest in the city, and significantly improve lighting quality.
The works include the installation of 31 new high-efficiency streetlights, in addition to creating new underground channeling and completely replacing all electrical wiring, as the existing installation requires a full update.
This intervention will allow for a significant improvement in the street's lighting quality and update a very old electrical installation.
The works, scheduled to last approximately one and a half months, will cause traffic disruptions. The lane heading towards la Mariola will be closed, with alternative detours enabled via Mercè Street.
