the dismissal is appropriate because there are no indications of the commission of any criminal behavior in light of the statements made by the appealing party and the documentation attached, and there is nothing to justify the initiation and maintenance of a judicial investigation, without the need to carry out further proceedings.

The First Section of the Provincial Court of Lleida has dismissed the appeal by Lleida Ponent CF, ratifying the provisional dismissal of the complaint filed against Mayor Fèlix Larrosa and several councilors on April 14, 2025.
The magistrates of the first section of the Provincial Court of Lleida have dismissed the appeal presented by Lleida Ponent CF. This appeal was directed against the order issued by the Investigating Court number 2 on April 14, 2025, which agreed to the provisional dismissal and archiving of the proceedings.
The initial complaint by the football club targeted the Mayor of Lleida, Fèlix Larrosa; the 1st Deputy Mayor, Begoña Iglesias; the Sports Councilor, Jackson Quiñónez, and the Chief of Staff, Xavier Batalla. The alleged crimes included influence peddling and document forgery.
The Provincial Court confirms that there is no evidence of the reported crimes, concurring with the investigating magistrate. Furthermore, it recalls that the agreement for the termination of the contract for the use of the Camp d’Esports occurred in 2022, under the previous municipal government, and that this agreement supports the subsequent actions initiated by the Lleida City Council.
