The Diputació de Lleida is participating in the 37th Agramunt Nougat and Chocolate Fair from October 10th to 12th, transforming the Aula del Gust into a showcase for regional gastronomy with demonstrations and tastings.

The Diputació de Lleida, through the Gust de Lleida brand, will be present at the 37th Agramunt Nougat and Chocolate Fair, held from October 10th to 12th. The main attraction will be the Aula del Gust de Lleida, a space dedicated to promoting local products and the gastronomic talent of the Lleida, Pyrenees, and Aran regions.
On Monday, October 12th, four culinary and pastry professionals will offer demonstrations and tastings at the Aula del Gust, located in the Pavelló Dolç. These professionals will showcase how local ingredients, especially nougat and chocolate a la pedra, can inspire new gastronomic interpretations that blend tradition with contemporary cuisine.
The day will begin at 11:00 AM with Francesc Palà (El Xalet de Ponts restaurant) and his 'Roots, creativity, and product' presentation. At 12:30 PM, Gonzalo Ferreruela (Ferreruela restaurant in Lleida) will present 'The cuisine of Nougat and Chocolate a la Pedra from Agramunt inspired by pastry'. In the afternoon, at 5:00 PM, Ivan Pascual (Pastisseria Tugues de Lleida) will offer 'Christmas Classics, a New Look', and at 6:30 PM, Sergi Aritzeta (El Truc restaurant in Agramunt) will conclude with 'Territorial Cuisine with Nougat and Chocolate a la Pedra'.
The sessions, lasting one hour and including tastings, will have an access fee of 4 euros. This initiative aims to strengthen the connection between producers, processors, restaurateurs, and consumers, highlighting the added value of the region's food products.
In parallel, the Diputació de Lleida will have an institutional stand throughout the three days of the fair. Here, the Gust de Lleida brand will be promoted, and a hamper of agri-food products from the Lleida, Pyrenees, and Aran regions will be raffled. Participation in the raffle is free via a QR code.
The fair also commemorates the 25th anniversary of the IGP Torró d’Agramunt and will present the 25th Torronaire d’Honor (Honorary Nougat Maker). The event will feature gastronomic demonstrations, cultural and family activities, sports events, and agri-food promotion areas.
The Gust de Lleida program also includes a visit from the Club Futbol Sala Linyola and a special live radio program from the institutional stand.
