Work is currently focused on installing key elements such as the canopy at the urban stop on Príncep de Viana and the large vertical identification sign near the main pedestrian access via Plaça Ramon Berenguer IV. Inside, the plasterboard divisions are well advanced, and the screen indicating arrivals and departures at each platform is already visible.
Regarding mobility, the section of Príncep de Viana closest to the station has been re-asphalted, and two new traffic lights have been installed to regulate vehicle entry and exit, although they are not yet operational. The pedestrian crossing has also been moved, and yellow lines have been painted to prevent circulating vehicles from stopping and blocking the main bus entrance.
The Lleida bus station will have 28 platforms and represents an investment of over forty million euros by the Generalitat.
The new terminal, which represents an investment exceeding 40 million euros funded by the Generalitat, will feature 28 platforms to manage the high volume of traffic, which currently records 1.3 million travelers annually across more than 120 bus lines.
The station will operate 365 days a year, with established operating hours from 5:30 AM to 10:45 PM Monday through Friday, and until 10:00 PM on weekends and holidays, remaining closed overnight.
