The tourism sector in the Lleida demarcation closed the 2025 financial year with a new historical maximum, registering over 1.38 million visitors and 3.35 million overnight stays, according to INE data.

Provisional data from the National Statistics Institute (INE) confirm the consolidation of the upward trend in the Pyrenees and the Lleida Lands. Accommodations hosted exactly 1,383,791 visitors and generated 3,357,193 overnight stays, with increases compared to 2024 of 2.8% and 2.43%, respectively.

The Vice President of the Lleida Provincial Tourism Board, Juan Antonio Serrano, highlighted the sector's capacity to retain and attract new clients. International tourism was key, with 254,564 foreign visitors and 583,402 nights. Hotels concentrated the bulk of the activity, with nearly a million tourists, followed by campsites, which exceeded 244,000 visitors.

The President of Lleida Campsites, Cel Feliu, stated that the sector has retained clients gained during the pandemic, while Mario Mata, president of rural tourism, emphasized the value of the experience linked to the territory. Looking ahead to 2026, the Board plans to promote sustainability and quality to extend activity into spring and autumn.
