The investigation began on October 5th following the detection of 3 m³ of paint cans and other materials linked to wall painting activities. Agents counted between 300 and 400 paint cans of various sizes.
The actions of the Rural Agents have helped reconstruct the chain of responsibility, collecting documents and analyzing statements from individuals connected to the professional activity and the occupation of the warehouse where the waste was allegedly stored.
Once the circumstances were determined, a report was issued to the responsible party for improper waste management, sent to the Waste Agency of Catalonia. The work of the Rural Agents aims to identify those responsible and ensure the restoration of affected areas.
The individual linked to the waste has communicated that they have initiated procedures for its removal through an authorized management company. Removal and cleaning tasks are scheduled for October 24th and 25th.
