The Rodalies service in Catalonia started the day on Tuesday, February 3, with only 70% of the usual demand, due to cuts affecting the R1 and RG1 lines between Blanes and Maçanet.

The spokesperson for Renfe in Catalonia, Antonio Carmona, explained from the Sants station that the main disruption is focused on the R1 and RG1 section, where the rail service is suspended between Blanes and Maçanet, and is covered by replacement buses.

The Rodalies service in Catalonia started the day with only 70% of the usual demand.

In addition to the closure, the R1 line also faces a speed restriction on the route between Blanes and l’Hospitalet de Llobregat, causing a significant increase in total travel time for commuters.
Regarding other lines, the R11 recovered its full route yesterday, and the R2 Nord line is also fully operational along its entire path, minimizing disruptions elsewhere in the network.
