Organized by the Centre Excursionista de Blanes with the support of the Sports Department of the City Council and the Federation of Catalan Hiking Entities, the popular walk offered three route options: 9, 12, and 18 kilometers. This year's main novelty was the incorporation of the intermediate 12-kilometer route.
The start and finish of all routes took place from the Passeig de Mar, which welcomed participants of all ages from early morning. Departures were staggered, starting at nine in the morning for the longest route, followed fifteen minutes later by those registered for the new 12-kilometer route, and finally, at nine-thirty, by the participants of the short route.
This activity combines sport and health with the discovery of local heritage, as the route allows participants to explore various hermitages in the municipality, including the Santuari del Vilar, located on the outskirts of Blanes.
The organization enabled on-site registrations on the day from eight in the morning, complementing the online registration period that had ended the previous week. Participants were provided with refreshments along the way and, upon finishing, could enjoy a popular breakfast at the Passeig de Mar, featuring grilled sausage and a vegan burger option.
The event benefited from the collaboration of volunteers, local businesses, and companies, as well as a deployment by the Blanes Local Police to ensure safety and traffic flow throughout the day.
