The incident occurred this Thursday at number 9 on Santa Anna street in Breda. Emergency services received the alert around 7:30 PM, and seven crews from the Bombers de la Generalitat (Firefighters) were immediately dispatched to the scene, including the collapsed structures team.

Initially, the possibility of other people being affected inside the building was not ruled out. However, the Firefighters later confirmed that the woman was the only fatality and that no one else was inside the two-story terraced house.

Upon arrival, the teams verified that the roof of the building had been damaged by the fire and deflagration. Nevertheless, serious structural damage was ruled out after a thorough inspection, allowing the specialized collapsed structures team to withdraw from the scene.
