A traffic accident involving two vehicles in Sils, near the Millennium nightclub, left one person less seriously injured on Saturday morning, January 10, with one driver testing positive for alcohol.

The rear-end collision occurred at kilometer point 1 of the GI-555 road around 6:30 AM on Saturday, January 10. The incident took place near the well-known Millennium nightclub in Sils.
Five units of the Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan Police), one unit of the Firefighters, and the Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) quickly deployed to the scene to assist the single injured person, whose injuries were classified as less serious.
According to police sources, the accident originated when the leading vehicle braked suddenly to avoid hitting a person walking on the shoulder. The car traveling behind was unable to react in time and collided with it.
Authorities confirmed that one of the drivers involved in the collision tested positive for alcohol during the roadside test, adding to the factors contributing to the incident.
