The Arbúcies Town Council has launched a public consultation allowing residents to vote on whether the historic Enramades festival should be shortened from seven to five days.

The proposal aims to concentrate the main events to boost local participation and ensure the festival's long-term sustainability. Local authorities in Arbúcies emphasized that all traditional flower carpets will be preserved regardless of the final duration.
Residents over 16 years old from the Magnes, Sorrall, and Carretera neighborhoods are eligible to participate. The voting period ends on April 7, and the outcome will be binding for future celebrations in the Selva region.
