The organization highlighted the goal of recovering not just a sporting event but a piece of Blanes' heritage. One of the organizers, David Molinero, assured that the race has a future. For their part, the president of the Catalan Cycling Federation, Carles Ferrer, praised the organizational level and the involvement of all parties.
In the men's general classification, Cole Davis (Speedstudio) won with a time of 10 minutes and 50 seconds. The podium was completed by Loewis Bockstaele Huygen (Supermercados Froiz) at 11:26 and Ever Alejandro Gomez Diaz (RR Bikers) at 11:54.
In the women's category, Agua Marina Espinola Salinas (Team Abadie Magna) was the winner with 13 minutes and 45 seconds, followed by Naylen Velazquez (15:07) and Silvia Zúñiga Garcia (16:51).
The race also recognized the winners of the different categories. In men's, Pau Salomon (cadet), Marc Guirado (junior), Loewis Bockstaele (U23), Cole Davis (elite), Francisco García (master 30), Raül Castelló (master 40), Raúl Mejias (master 50), and Josep Bosch (master 60). Jairo Torrecillas was the first local runner. In women's, Aina Bueno (cadet), Agua Marina Espinola (elite), and Silvia Zúñiga (master 40).
The Councilor for Sports of Blanes, Mònica Rabassa, emphasized the importance of recovering this historic event for the local memory and heritage. The organization thanked the involvement of sponsors, institutions, volunteers, and entities, and is already working with an eye towards future editions.
