The Mayor of Blanes, Jordi Hernández, has confirmed that the legal commission has declared the urban agreement of the partial plan null and void, requiring a full administrative review.

The socialist mayor announced that Blanes City Council will seek an external audit to clarify political and technical actions. According to Hernández, the resolution confirms that procedures were carried out illegally, affecting the Compensation Board and private owners.

Regarding public safety, the municipal government expects to tender the construction of the new Local Police station before the summer of 2026. The council has 10 million euros reserved for this project, currently held in interest-bearing accounts.
