The Comuns parliamentary group has filed a series of formal questions in the Catalan Parliament to pressure the Government regarding the construction of the new Sils High School in La Selva.

Led by Jéssica Albiach, the party highlighted that students have been attending classes in prefabricated modules since 2008. Although these structures were intended to be temporary, they have remained in use for nearly two decades.

"This situation is inadmissible from the point of view of public service quality and the dignity of the educational community."

Despite the Department of Education securing the necessary land in 2023, there is still no official schedule for the project's drafting or bidding process. Local families and teachers have organized a peaceful march to demand immediate action.
